GreenPointe Developers (GreenPointe) is the horizontal master developer of the 14-acre waterfront property. The overall project represents a $1 billion investment from GreenPointe and other partners to include up to 695 residential units, 175 hotel rooms, 38,922 square feet of office space and 189,050 square feet of commercial space for shopping and dining on the property. GreenPointe is creating “blocks” of downtown property and they will then partner with other developers for vertical construction. Each building use is designed to be an extension of downtown Sarasota.
The Quay Sarasota Waterfront District will offer a blend of luxury residential, upscale retail, boutique hotel, and state-of-the-art office space in a scenic waterfront setting of natural beauty, eclectic architecture and animated public spaces. The project will provide public access to the waterfront through the creation of a Scenic Multi-Use Recreational Trail (MURT) that will connect to an existing Bayfront MURT that runs north from Selby Gardens to the Ringling Museum.
